Honoring the Seniors...

On Thursday, May 20th, we honored 12 great Bobcats for
their dedication to our Football program over the last 4 years.
We will surely miss them, but wish them the best.
They have been awesome Bobcats and representatives of our
school, but even more, they are fine young men!
Charodd, Charond, Jamarcus, Zack, Kenneth, Omar, TJ,
Kaylon, Zack, Scooter & Fernando (not pictured, Marquis)
The Seniors with Coach Woolf, Coach Hall &
Team Chaplain, Brad Hughes (not pictured but in attendance,
Coach Winkler, Coach Morris, & Coach Randolph)
Just me & a few of the Seniors...
Sometimes you feel old, ha. This is Omar, and I remember him being in
Elementary school and sitting in my lap one night to
watch the game when we were in Mitchell County watching
his brother, Darius, play. Now, here we are celebrating his graduation.
Well, this is me and all the Seniors. ( a little fuzzy )
Have loved EVERY minute with this crew.
Me & Kaylon (headed to Valdosta State to play football)
Me & Jordan (headed to Georgia Southern to play Football)
Me & Fernando (our best dressed Bobcat :-) )
Being in charge of an athletic booster club and/or a football booster
club will land you in some crazy places, such as sweating & cooking in a kitchen
at Football camp, cleaning up a football field, holding your nose every
Monday after a game when you walk in a field house, being a secretary for
coaches, or thinking of ways to raise money for everything they need, just to
name a few. However, most importantly, it will land you at dinners
like these where we get the opportunity to praise their accomplishments
and make sure they know how much we appreciate their dedication or it
will land you in a spot where you get to hear one of the players pray and
thank God for the things that we've done for them or maybe you'll find
yourself standing towards the back of a huddle hearing the coaches encourage
these kids to work harder and reach their full potential. No matter where it
lands me,week after week, I know i've landed in the right place to help
make a difference. Still...enjoying every minute of football!
